The basic principle of project management is that each fund program and project type has its own financial and administrative procedures and rules. It is critical that these special rules are monitored and a professional project management team is appointed to achieve successful project management. KHAS R&D Resources Project Management Office provides the following services:
- Upon the acceptance of the project, informing the project coordinator of the financial and administrative procedures and principles of the project,
- To Provide support to ensure that, the internal processes of both the funding institution and KHAS are regularly being carried out in a coordinated manner,
- Acting as an interface between the funding institution and the project coordinator, to carry out an efficient communication process,
- To coordinate the processes of invoicing and payment for the University-Industry Collaboration projects,
- Following the bank accounts and project payments specific to the project,
- Ensuring that all the expenditures requested within the scope of the projects (a. Personnel salary payments, b. Product/Service payments, c. Expense payments, d. Advance payments) are carried on smoothly and on time (providing financial flow),
- To control and analyze the project budget, in order to use it most effectively. Ensuring the transfers between budget items when necessary,
- Making the data entries for the TUBITAK project expenditures into TTS Database and keeping the records,
- Preparing the “Realized Budget” reports, and providing them to the project coordinator,
- Preparing and presenting the periodical project development and result reports,
- Coordinating the preparation of the year-end reports, approved by the Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and submitting them to the funding institution.
