TÜBİTAK 3005 Program Project Support to Dr. Gizem Arslan

We are pleased to announce that the project “Comparing Turkey’s Legislation with the European Union and French Legislation on Urban Transformation Practices and Determining the Legal Regulations Required in Fight Against Climate Change”, coordinated by Dr. Gizem Arslan from the Faculty of Law, has been funded by TÜBİTAK 3005 Program.

This project aims to reveal the role of urban transformation and renewal practices in the fight against climate change, examine the European Union regulations that provide solid legal grounds with the method of comparative legal analysis, and present a legal and scientific basis for the legislation and policy needed for Turkey.

Prof. Dr. Başak Baysal takes part as an Advisor, Asst. Prof. Ekin Ömeroğlu and Dr. Esra Ünal also participate as researchers in the project.
